Denim On Denim On Denim

My mom has made it abundantly clear to me that I do not need anymore jeans. But what can I say, I have an addiction. I don't go out and look for just any regular pair of jeans, but I try to find ones that are unique and different.
I don't know when this obsession of mine really started, what I do know is that I have an eye for an exclusive pair of jeans. I've even been thinking of really cool ways to implement denim into a pair of sneakers as shown below.
This is what I submitted to the Golden Goose design competition, I didn't win, but I'm still holding onto hope that these may one day become a new pair of sneakers.
In high school, I started going into my local TJ Maxx and was finding all of these great high-end denim brands with amazing designs at a fraction of the cost. I wanted to take fashion risks, but didn't want to break the bank in the process.
Sales are my best friend and promo codes are like a blessing. Whenever I walk into a store and see a sale rack, the first thing I v-line for, is the denim. With quarantine, online shopping has been the only option, and therefore, I have had to hunt down the best promo codes. Even signing up for a brand's newsletter can get you 10-20% off your first purchase, it's definitely worth it.
These were one of my favorite pairs because of their fit and I loved their look even though they were not as out there as my other pairs. However, after trying to get into my mom's rental car and pulling my leg up to get in, they ripped right down the butt. How lovely. And yes, in this picture my hair is wet and my mirror for my dorm is yet to be opened as my previous one had fallen off my closet and shattered. Seven years bad luck coming my way!
Denim Dresses, Denim Shorts, Jeans, Denim Jackets, Denim Rompers, Overalls... Denim is that one category that can be made into just about anything, and it's cute!
Mom, if you're reading this, I'm sorry because I've already planned out my next denim purchase and you can't stop me :) I guess I relate to Ariana Grande's song, "I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it." 🤷
