Pink For Summer!

Pink is definitely my favorite color. It is honestly, in my opinion, one of the best colors to be wearing, not only during the summer, but all year round. Unlike winter where you are most likely wearing black or dark colors, summertime brings out bright and fun colors.

On the Spring 2020 Runways there were a lot of pinks and they have definitely transitioned into the summer. It is with out a doubt a trend you do not want to miss out on. Here are some outfits and ways you can bring pink into your closet.

Camp shirts have been a major trend this summer and I was lucky enough to get my hands on a L'Agence pink polka-dot one at TJ Maxx (believe me, they have those high-end brands at a fraction of the cost). I love wearing it as a cover-up for when I'm going to the beach or the pool, but it's also a really cute layer for wearing over, what is another big trend for the summer, bra tops and bikini tops. This look reminds me of the perfect outfit for Cambria or Big Sur where it may be a little cooler and jeans are a good idea.

Whenever I go to the beach, I want to wear something comfortable over my bathing suit because odds are that I am going to a friend's house after and wet denim shorts are not fun to wear. I have been loving sweat shorts and have been on the look for them everywhere. These ones are super cute, and you can find more designs at Aritzia and EB Denim has some cute ones as well. I always find myself wearing a white top for most of my summer days, no matter how hard I try to stray away from it, but if you can find one that is unique in its design than opt for that and have fun with what you wear!

I found myself looking through my closet at the beginning of the summer and wondering if I had any cool and casual shorts or skirts that I could wear out. But I came up pretty empty handed. When I came across these, however, I was in love with the color and the print. I am still pretty obsessed with tie-dye. A good white bodysuit with a comfortable material is a necessity in your closet and this one has a low back with criss-cross straps which adds a little more detail. I remember when I first saw these Golden Goose on Farfetch I thought that everyone should have these shoes, I mean look at that pink!

Essentially, most of the dresses that I wear are made of silk or a similar material. I find that it is most flattering for my body and I find it the most comfortable. For my junior year prom, I wore a black Zimmerman somewhat midi dress that had a very similar ruched detailing that I loved. I've also seen it pop up on other numerous brand's dresses like WeWoreWhat and For Love & Lemons. This pink is the icing on the cake. For the summer, I feel that a leather slide is the perfect shoe for going out, besides a good sneaker ;) , and Bottega's is not one to disappoint.
